Our daunting 9m climbing wall presents a challenge to all; from complete beginners to the more accomplished climbers. It is difficult to appreciate just how much climbing can contribute to your overall fitness and strength until you have tried it! So why not give it a go today. It will also help to develop other important life skills such as teamwork, self-confidence and stamina.
Courses run throughout the year for those wishing to learn more about this growing sport and clubs run weekly for those wishing to enhance their existing skills and improve their fitness and strength. Courses and clubs are run by qualified staff who are here to teach, advise and reassure.

This running club takes you through the beautiful Ribble Valley. The group run on average between 7k and 10k and is aimed an intermediate level. Participants use the sessions to train for local 10k race events. Running Club is ever Monday and Thursday at 6pm and is free to everyone.
Free to all members this outdoor bootcamp with Neil will put you through your paces. For all ages and abilities the bootcamp is a great way to improve your fitness levels. Starting on the 19th April at 7pm meet at reception and again its FREE. Bootcamp is every Sunday yearly indoor 10am-11am and ever Tuesday 6pm to 7pm (April-October).

Cup winners 2017 – The Wanderers
The Dorothy Southworth indoor bowling league at Roefield finally came to a close after seven competitive months. The second semi final The Wanderers over came Read by one shot in an epic battle. The match was evenly poised any of the two teams could have won and reached the final. In the final itself between Phoenix and The Wanderers the game close going up to the half way stage before The Wanderers took control and ran out 41- 47 winners. After the match there was a presentation of awards handed out by the deputy Mayor of Clitheroe Councillor Maureen Fenton followed by a buffet lunch enjoyed by all.
Roefield is looking to expand its hugely popular indoor bowling league next season. They have just completed their third year where 11 teams took part in the league and handicap knock out. Over 160 players took part. All games last one and three quarter hours and the season last from September through to March.
